Rex: based on a play by Joe Pintauro
Winner of Audience Choice Award for Best Short at Hell's Half Mile Film Festival
Rex is a 8 minute and thirty second short film based on the short play by Joe Pintauro.
When Jenn, a new-age trust fund baby, has an accident; she must find a way to relieve her burden of guilt and restore the natural order of things. Can her artist husband Eric help her to reinstate karmic balance over dinner?
"From a film fest perspective, you can't ask for a better film than 'Rex'. It's rare to find a short indie comedy that tickles the audience's funny bone without going low-brow. The film's quirkiness was just perfect for our event."- Travis B. Alden Festival Director Hardacre Film and Cinema Festival
Rex was awarded the Audience Choice Award for Best Short at the 2008 Hell’s Half Mile Film and Music Festival, Bay City, Michigan USA.
